Working Hard!

It has been a challenging week. I was sick all weekend and spent most of it in the bed. I did make it to church Sunday morning, but it was a stretch. Of course, I was very glad I had made the effort. I was so thankful that Monday was a day off. I rested all day and was able to go to work on Tuesday. I have trained for a few hours with Leslie, who works the switchboard, so that I can cover for her at lunch. Yesterday she got a call that her grandfather had died (say a prayer for the Wroten family). She left and I have been substituting for her, so today and tomorrow, I'm working 7:45 to 5. Needless to say, I was stressed yesterday when she left and I took over. But today was much better. I brought notes home and studied last night. Then today, I prayed everytime the phone rang. That may be the first time God has had to work the switchboard! I'm very tired and just trying to hang in there because I know I'm needed. She should be back Friday and I'll work my regular hours. How is everyone doing practicing being a "container"?
